Huawei Announces Which Devices will get EMUI 8.0 with Android Oreo

In a post on Chinese social media website Weibo, Huawei has announced which phones are slated to receive an update to the company's Android Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 firmware.

It's always exciting when your phone gets a software update, and it's something that Android enthusiasts look forward to with great anticipation. Huawei debuted the newest version of its in-house Android skin, Emotion UI (EMUI) 8.0, alongside the Mate 10 series in late 2017, and since then, folks in the community have been wondering about when their phones might get it. So far, we've seen it roll out to some Huawei and Honor phones, but there hasn't been much communication from Huawei. That changed this week, thankfully, with a post from the company on Chinese social network Weibo detailing which devices will get the Android Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 update.
