The Honor 20 Lite was launched in early May 2019 in the UK for £249, much before the launch of the other two devices in the Honor 20 Series. The device made its way to India this May alongside its higher-end siblings, the Honor 20 and the Honor 20 Pro. All three devices take aim for different parts of the market, and the Honor 20i gets the most difficult segment in my opinion. While the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro target the affordable flagship space, the Honor 20i targets the extremely competitive early mid-range segment in India, thanks to its pricing of ₹14,999.

Huawei might bring an upgraded variant of the P20 Lite with quad cameras, a hole punch display similar to Honor View20, and Kirin 710.
Huawei recently refreshed its photography-centric P-series with the Huawei P30 series including the P30 Pro, which comes with a charming quad camera setup and 5X optical zoom. In certain regions like India, the company also announced the Lite version of Huawei P30, with one camera short of the P30 Pro, much affordable pricing, and lower processing power. Now, the company might be looking to announce a new smartphone in the P-series, albeit as an extension to the last year's P20 series. As per leaked information, the Huawei P20 Lite 2019 will be announced soon and will feature a hole-punch camera and quad-cameras.

A new leak now suggests that Honor is looking to release a new device with triple rear cameras and other features, marking another addition to its portfolio.

Not too long ago, Huawei was not a major smartphone brand in India. At the end of Q1 2017, the company had 1.4% market share in the Indian smartphone market. However, the company has since been growing at a surprisingly rapid pace. Traditionally, the company opted not to launch Huawei-branded premium phones in India, as it relied on its online-only Honor subsidiary brand to sell affordable phones. In 2018, this changed as Huawei launched multiple Huawei-branded phones such as the Huawei P20 Pro, Huawei P20 Lite, Huawei Nova 3, Huawei Nova 3i, and finally, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Now, Huawei has launched the Huawei Y9 2019 in India for ₹15,990 ($227).

We initially learned from our sources that the Huawei P Smart 2019 was coming to Europe as a successor to the mid-range P Smart that launched at the start of last year, but there was no information as to when. Shortly after, we learned that the device had launched in Ukraine at a starting price of around €205. Finally, the company has now announced its launch in the UK, and it will be available for purchase from most retailers on January 10th at a starting price of £149.

As of lately, Honor has been on a streak. Despite their ups and downs, they've managed to launch several devices in the past few months, notably the Honor Magic 2, their own take on a "fully bezel-less" phone with a slider camera. But one of their most notable smartphones so far this year has been, as expected, the Honor 10. It was pretty similar to the Huawei P20 smartphones in most aspects, sans a few differences such as the camera and the external design. It was a no-brainer, then, to see Honor launching a more modest version of their Honor 10 flagship, replicating the original's highlights while keeping costs on the lower end of the spectrum.

Huawei launches the Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i in India
Huawei has launched the Huawei Nova 3 and the Huawei Nova 3i in India. The Huawei Nova 3 costs ₹34,999, while the Kirin 710-powered Nova 3i costs ₹20,990.
At an event in Delhi today, Huawei launched the Huawei Nova 3 and the Huawei Nova 3i in India. The phones are the first in the Nova series to officially make their way to India. The Huawei Nova 3 has high-end specifications including the HiSilicon Kirin 970 system-on-chip (which is a first for the Nova series), while the Huawei Nova 3i is the first Huawei phone to feature the new HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC.

The Huawei Nova series is Huawei's mid-range smartphone series, and the Nova 3 series slots up below the Huawei Mate 10 series as well as the Huawei P20 and the Huawei P20 Pro. The Huawei Nova 3 went up for pre-order in China before its official launch, and now the company has revealed its pricing. The Huawei Nova 3i, a "lite" variant of the Nova 3, has also been made official.
