This phenomenal success of smartphones with a high value proposition has forced other smartphone manufacturers to cut their profit margins and launch smartphones at lower than their traditional prices. After Samsung pit its new Galaxy M series against Xiaomi's Redmi in India, LG is now jumping the bandwagon. While LG's smartphone business, unlike Samsung's, has not been doing very well globally, the company is looking to revive its lost glory, especially in competitive markets such as India with the launch of the new LG W series, adding three new devices - the LG W10, the W30, and the W30 Pro - to its catalog.
