MIUI 11 is rolling out to several Xiaomi and Redmi devices. Head on over for download links for Recovery ROM and Fastboot ROM to sideload the update!
MIUI 11 is the newest big release for Xiaomi smartphones, perhaps even bigger than an Android version jump. Features on Xiaomi devices are dictated more by their MIUI versions than the underlying Android version, so an MIUI version upgrade is an exciting event. MIUI 11 was announced in China in September 2019, bringing along new features such as animated AOD and Horizon Light for supported devices, new font, dynamic sound system, Mi Work and Mi Go app suites, and more changes. The first batch of MIUI 11 Betas was available for a bunch of devices, and over the next few weeks, devices like the Redmi K20 have begun receiving their stable MIUI 11 updates. Now, Xiaomi has officially confirmed that stable MIUI 11 update is rolling out to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi 7, Redmi Note 5 Pro and the Poco F1.
Xiaomi Mi 5/5s/5s Plus, Mi Mix, Mi Note 2, and Nextbit Robin get support for LineageOS 16 based on Android Pie
The Xiaomi Mi 5, Mi 5s, Mi 5s Plus, Mi Note 2, Mi Mix, and Nextbit Robin are the latest to get official support for LineageOS 16 based on Android Pie.
If you are interested in modding your device, whether it's in the short or long term, Xiaomi devices are great choices. The cheap prices of their smartphones coupled with custom development-friendliness helps a lot. One of the best ROMs available for these phones (and pretty much any phone, while we're at it) is LineageOS. Everyone's taste in ROMs is different, but LineageOS strikes a nice balance between pure stock Android and other feature-rich distributions. It adds a lot of features, but keeps all the unnecessary/gimmicky stuff out of the door. The Lineage team recently launched LineageOS 16, the latest iteration of their custom software, which is based on the Android Pie release.
MIUI 9 China Stable (Android Oreo) available for Xiaomi Mi 5, Mi Note 2, and Mi Mix
Android 8.0 Oreo-based MIUI 9.6 Global Stable ROMs are now available for the Xiaomi Mi 5, Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and the Xiaomi Mi Mix.
MIUI 10 may be the latest version of Xiaomi's custom UI, but that doesn't mean that MIUI 9 has become obsolete. In fact, it will take months for Xiaomi to release Global Stable and China Stable ROMs for its devices. The company has already specified the roll-out schedule for MIUI 10 Global Beta, as well as MIUI 10 China Alpha. An important thing to note, however, is that a MIUI 10 update is separate from an Android Oreo update, as MIUI 10 ROMs can be based on older versions of Android.
MIUI 10 Global Beta 8.7.5 released for eight Xiaomi devices
MIUI 10 Global Beta 8.7.5 is now available for eight Xiaomi devices such as the Xiaomi Mi 6, Mi Mix 2S, Mi Mix, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and more.
Recently, Xiaomi revealed the roll-out schedule of MIUI 10, the next version of MIUI. MIUI 10 comes in two variants: MIUI 10 China and MIUI 10 Global. The Global ROM is intended for a global audience and comes with Google Play services integration, and Xiaomi phones that are sold internationally ship with MIUI Global. We have seen MIUI 10 China be announced at the Xiaomi Mi 8 event in May, and MIUI 10 Global be announced at the Xiaomi Redmi Y2 event in India.

MIUI 10 China Beta is now available for 10 Xiaomi devices! You can flash it via downloading images and flashing with fastboot or receive the beta update.
The MIUI 10 Global ROM was announced nearly 2 weeks ago along the Xiaomi Redmi Y2 unveiling in India. This came about a week after the MIUI 10 China ROM was announced. The latest version of MIUI is a completely redesigned and reimagined version of Xiaomi's skin. We've covered every new feature it offered and the availability of the closed beta China Developer ROMs and Global Developer ROMs. Now, Xiaomi has announced the general availability of the MIUI 10 China Developer ROM for 10 Xiaomi phones. This includes the following devices:
