Xiaomi's MIUI 10 Global software is getting a built-in dark theme
Xiaomi's MIUI 10 will receive a system-wide dark theme soon on the lines of Android Q's dark mode, starting today with the MIUI 10 Global Beta v9.2.14.
Xiaomi’s MIUI brings the latest Android features irrespective of the Android version it is based on. MIUI 10 based on Android Oreo, for instance, borrowed the notification shade and the vertical volume controls from the Android Pie developer preview. Now, MIUI is likely to embrace another unreleased Android feature and that is a system-wide dark mode.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4A belongs to Xiaomi's fleet of low-end devices. After all, the phone itself is nothing to write home about, featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor with 2 GB of RAM and up to 32 GB of storage. With low specs also come low prices, of course, and the Redmi 4A's initial asking price was hovering around the $100 mark. Despite its low-end specifications and its asking price, however, Xiaomi has shown that they're committed to releasing updates, even for these devices. The Xiaomi Redmi 4A is now receiving an update to MIUI 10 on the Global Stable branch.
