There’s been a flurry of new smartphone launches in the last couple of weeks, with the likes of Xiaomi, Realme, and Samsung bringing their latest budget and mid-range options to the market. To help owners get the most out of their devices and to stay on top of the latest trends and developments, we have opened up XDA forums for several new smartphones. The list includes both recently launched devices as well a couple of devices that were launched a while ago including the Redmi Note 10 Pro, Realme X7 series, Galaxy F62, Moto E 2020, Moto G10, Moto G30, Galaxy A32 4G, and more.

Access to the kernel sources gives power users a chance to dive deeper into the code that runs the corresponding Android-powered device. Besides improving the overall performance, tweaking such sources allow the modding community to add new capabilities that are otherwise not offered in the stock configuration. Kernel source releases also help developers to port popular custom ROMs (e.g. LineageOS) for the device which, in turn, benefit users who aren’t satisfied with the stock ROM. Most Android OEMs nowadays release the sources within a short period of their devices hitting the market, fulfilling their legal obligation of the General Public License v2. Manufacturers like Samsung and Motorola have a particularly good track record of releasing these sources and we now have another example of their diligence. The kernel sources for the recently released Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 series as well as a bunch of Motorola phones are now up for grabs.

This morning, Motorola is taking the wraps off two new devices in the popular Moto G and Moto E families. The Moto G Fast and new Moto E are decently-specced yet affordable Android smartphones for the U.S. market, which is something we don't see a lot. As the name implies, the Moto G Fast is a mid-range phone with speed in mind, while the Moto E is a continuation of the company's high-quality low-end offerings.
