Developers working on the Team Win Recovery Project recently unveiled TWRP 3.4.0 - a major release with several notable improvements, such as partial support for Android 10. TWRP has become the de-facto custom recovery solution for the Android modding community, as it can be used to flash ZIP archives that contain custom ROMs or other mods, make and restore full data backups, and do much more. Now, a handful of devices from different manufacturers have made their way to the official roster, namely, the Samsung Galaxy M20, Galaxy S4 Mini (Sprint variant), and the Fairphone 3.

Fortnite Mobile on Android is a long-awaited upcoming release of an already massively popular game. Since launching on Apple iOS, users of Android smartphones and tablets have been wondering when Fortnite would launch on their devices too. The Android release has apparently been delayed as we recently reported that it will be launching as an exclusive with the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. This exclusivity will supposedly last 30 days. After 30 days, Fortnite Mobile on Android will become available for all supported Android devices. If you're wondering if your device will be supported, we've got the list of supported Android devices taken straight from Epic Games' own website.

Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) is the most popular custom recovery for Android devices. Having TWRP support (or another comparable custom recovery) is a necessity for the health of a custom ROM scene. Without a custom recovery, it would be risky for users to flash any custom ROMs, acquire root access by modifying the boot image, and difficult to install modifications because of the ease of custom scripts. Many devices receive an unofficial build of TWRP shortly after a device is released and kernel source code is made available. Having an unofficial build become official signals that the maintainer is committed to keeping the recovery up to date with the latest changes in TWRP and that the build will be made available on the official website. The latest devices added to the official roster include the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, the MediaTek variant of the Motorola Moto E4 Plus, and the Alcatel Telekom Puls.
