After months of beta testing, the Android 13 update is finally rolling out.
Android 13 has been out for a couple of months now, and it seems to be coming to non-Pixel devices faster than ever before. On the heels of Samsung updating a bunch of devices to the latest iteration of Android, OnePlus is the next OEM to have new software ready to go for its 2020 lineup. After a couple of beta releases, the stable version of OxygenOS 13 is ready to go for the OnePlus 8, 8 Pro, and 8T. Apart from the 8 series, the OnePlus 9R, 9RT, and 10R have also picked up the Android 13 update via stable channel.

OnePlus has released the first OxygenOS 13 Open Beta builds for the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 8T, and OnePlus 9R.
Now that OnePlus has released the first stable build of OxygenOS 13 to its flagship OnePlus 10 Pro, the company is shifting focus to older devices. The OnePlus 9 series received the first beta build towards the end of last month, and it's now time for the OnePlus 9R and the OnePlus 8 series.

The LineageOS team has extended LineageOS 19 support to five more devices, including the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 8T, Galaxy A52 4G, and Galaxy A72.
Since its debut earlier this year, the LineageOS team has extended LineageOS 19 support to quite a few Android devices. The Android 12-based custom ROM recently added support for the Xiaomi Mi 6, Moto G 5G, Moto G 5G Plus, Motorola Edge, and the ZUK Z2 Plus. Now, the LineageOS team is extending support to five more devices, including the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 8T, Galaxy A52 4G, and Galaxy A72.

After months, T-Mobile has finally released the OxygenOS 12 update, bringing Android 12 to the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8T.
In March, OnePlus released the first stable OxygenOS 12 update for the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8T. The update was an important one, bringing Android 12 to both handsets. While some rejoiced with the new update, others, like those in the United States, wondered when their handsets would be updated. After several months, T-Mobile has finally released the update, making it available as an over-the-air (OTA) download.

As for the changes, well, there are quite a few of them, and the company promises both new features and a better user experience.
