Oppo is one of the top smartphone brands outside the U.S. and it has a batch of amazing devices you can try.

Although Oppo is a relatively less-known smartphone brand in the U.S., the company is a major player in other parts of the world. It's among the top five smartphone makers globally in terms of market share and makes some of the best Android phones across various price segments. Oppo's Find X series is especially noteworthy, offering top-of-the-line hardware, impressive cameras, and blazing fast charging capabilities at reasonable prices compared to Samsung or Apple. Its recently released Find N series includes some of the best foldable phones currently on the market, while its Reno, F, A, and K series devices compete in the mid-range and budget segments. If you're in the market for a new phone and aren't enticed by Apple and Samsung's latest offerings, we highly recommend giving an Oppo smartphone a shot.

After landing in India this July, Oppo's Reno 8 series has finally made its way to the U.K. and Europe. The lineup includes three devices featuring mid-range hardware along with a few premium features. In case you missed our previous coverage of the Reno 8 series, here's a quick refresher.

Oppo Reno 8 Pro Review: Every bit as performant and high-end as premium flagships

The Oppo Reno 8 Pro may not be armed to the teeth, meaning it's not positioned as a flagship device on the market. But having used it as my primary phone for the better part of the last couple of weeks, I can say it's every bit as high-end and performant as other premium devices in 2022. It comes with advantages and disadvantages of its own, but the Reno 8 Pro might actually be better than many other upper mid-range phones that are available out there. It's not without its flaws, but I think the Reno 8 Pro hits a lot of right notes you'd expect from a flagship phone and it shines with a few unique features of its own.

Oppo's Reno 8 series has finally arrived in the Indian market. The premium mid-rangers -- the Reno 8 and the Reno 8 Pro -- come with some noteworthy changes under the hood, meaning they aren't the same Reno 8 series devices that arrived in China earlier this year. The Indian variant of the Reno 8 Pro, for instance, is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8100-Max chip instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 found inside the Chinese variant.
