Apple's Tap to Pay service is gaining more support, with PayPal and Venmo hopping on board, adding support to their respective apps.
Apple unveiled its Tap to Pay service on iPhone towards the beginning of the year. The service allowed merchants a new and easy way to take contactless payments simply by using a compatible iPhone. The service is supported by major networks like American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa. Now, the platform is gaining more support, with PayPal and Venmo iOS apps soon offering support for Apple's Tap to Pay service.
Amazon begins accepting Venmo as a payment option
Starting today, Amazon will accept Venmo as a payment option, giving shoppers a new way to pay.
Today, Amazon announced that it would begin accepting Venmo as a payment option. The payment option will be available using the Amazon.com website and its mobile app for iOS and Android. If you don't see the option yet, Amazon does state that it's in the process of rolling it out, but it should be available to all Amazon customers in the United States by the time Black Friday hits.
