Since we last added new forum pages for the latest smartphones, Xiaomi and Motorola have announced a couple of new phones. Xiaomi unveiled its Galaxy Z Fold 4 competitor, the Mix Fold 2, and Motorola announced the Moto X30 Pro (AKA Motorola Edge 30 Ultra). We've now opened forum pages fo these devices to give buyers and enthusiasts a place for discussions, third-party development, mods, and more. In addition, we've opened a forum page for the mid-range Poco F4.

It's no secret that the United States has a terrible smartphone market, and you'd be hard pressed to find evidence to the contrary. Between the stranglehold that carriers have on the market, coupled with the lack of options available, consumers in the U.S. get screwed over on both options and pricing in contrast to Europe and Asia. The recently-released Google Pixel 6a's value proposition in North America proves exactly that problem.

Xiaomi’s flagship phones are really good, and devices like the Xiaomi 12S Ultra can easily compete with anything made by Apple or Samsung. Xiaomi’s budget phones are also among the most affordable and reliable Android devices around. But it is arguably in the mid-range segment — that sweet $300 to $500 spot — where Xiaomi truly leaps ahead of the pack by offering significantly better value than anyone else.
