MIUI 12 is the newest big release for Xiaomi smartphones, perhaps even bigger than an Android version jump. Features on Xiaomi devices are dictated more by their MIUI versions than the underlying Android version, so a MIUI version upgrade is an exciting event. This article will serve as the central repository of download links for all Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO devices that have received their official MIUI 12 stable updates. Last week we saw some exciting new hardware coming out from Huawei, ZTE, Motorola, and Nokia. ZTE showcased the Axon 30 with an improved under-display camera while Huawei made a strong statement with the launch of its new P50 series, promising "new breakthrough tech in mobile imaging.” Nokia unveiled a tough phone that promises to last for years with 2 years of warranty and 4 years of software support. POCO has a new phone for the Middle Eastern, Latin American, African, and Southeast Asian market, and surprise, surprise -- it's a rebranded version of an existing device Xiaomi had already released elsewhere. In this case, the confusion factor is even higher, because the "new" POCO X3 GT is a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10 Pro, but not the global Redmi Note 10 Pro that I tested back in March. Instead, the POCO X3 GT is a rebrand of the China-specific version of the Redmi Note 10 Pro.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G in China earlier this year. The device featured the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC, a 6.6-inch 120Hz IPS display, a 64MP triple camera setup, and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. As seen in previous reports, the device has now made its way to the global markets as the POCO X3 GT.

Xiaomi's lineup of devices is a confusing mess. We've talked about it and complained a lot about it, and yet, it's still a mess. Nonetheless, their devices are pretty good, and Xiaomi's POCO lineup of smartphones is alright as far as price to performance goes. The Redmi lineup is also pretty good in that particular aspect. The POCO X3 and the POCO X3 Pro were both amazing devices for the price, and the company is looking for a third golden ticket with the POCO X3 GT.
