[Update 2: Enabled in Chrome 77] Chrome for Android's "Self Share" may let you push browser tabs to desktop Chrome

A new Chromium commit mentioned adding a feature flag for "self share prototype." The feature could work similarly to Pushbullet built into Chrome.

An important part of life in a digital world is integration between devices. When smartphones first arrived, there were tons of apps that made it possible to sync and share between devices. If you're a long-time Android user you may remember an app called "Chrome to Phone" that allowed you to push things from your desktop browser to your phone. Features like this are fairly common now and Google is working on a new one.

Samsung is still sending advertisements to users via push notifications

Samsung was caught sending ads with push notifications 3 years ago. Despite much critisicm, they are doing it again with Push Services.

Samsung phones have a reputation for having a lot of bloatware pre-installed. At one point, there used to be a Samsung equivalent application for every Google app pre-installed. Nowadays, the software situation is a bit better with a lot less bloatware preinstalled on the latest Galaxy flagship devices. One area where Samsung hasn't improved on is their penchant for sending advertisements via push notifications.
