Qualcomm announces the Snapdragon 712 with a slight performance bump over the Snapdragon 710
Qualcomm has announced the next chipset in the series: the Snapdragon 712. As you can probably tell from the model number bump, this is a small upgrade.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC was announced nearly a year ago. The 700 series is a slight step up from the mid-range 600 series, but not quite on the 800 series level. We've seen it in a lot of devices from Oppo, Nokia, and other devices in the segment. Today, Qualcomm has announced the next chipset in the series: the Snapdragon 712.
