The Huawe Y7 Pro 2019 has launched in Vietnam with a 6.26-inch HD+ display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450, and a 4,000 mAh battery.
Shenzhen-based smartphone manufacturer Huawei has just launched the Huawei Y7 Pro 2019, expanding its low-end Y series smartphone range. While it features the budget Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 system-on-chip and "only" 3GB of RAM, it does pack a massive 4,000 mAh battery and a 6.26-inch 1520x720 display (19:9 aspect ratio). Just like the Huawei P Smart 2019, the Huawei Y7 Pro 2019 features a waterdrop notch - which the company is calling "dewdrop." The notch houses the 16MP front camera with the earpiece sitting above it.

Slim bezels are the new trend yet most OEMs have had to come up with some solution to keep the proper sensors at the top of the phones. We saw this waterdrop notch from the OPPO R17 earlier this year and OnePlus used a similar style in the newly released 6T as well. Now, the company seems to be sticking with this style for their newer phones as we can see in the newly announced OPPO A7. This is a mid-range smartphone with the Snapdragon 450 SoC, the aforementioned waterdrop notch, and a larger than average 4,230mAh capacity battery.

OPPO just released a new phone, the OPPO Realme 2. It features some decent specs, like the Snapdragon 450, 3GB/4GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB internal storage with microSD card support, and 4,230 mAh battery, while keeping the affordable price of approximately $128. It also comes with the Android 8,1 Oreo. The Realme 2 is currently only available in India.

The Realme 1 was launched on May 15 as Realme's first smartphone. At that time, Realme was an online-only brand of OPPO. The Realme 1 provided a lot of value for its price, with its list of specifications including the capable MediaTek Helio P60 system-on-chip, 3GB/4GB/6GB of RAM with 32GB/64GB/128GB storage, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front-facing camera, and a 3,410mAh battery. Its starting 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant was sold for ₹8,990 ($128), which undercut all of its competitors.

Today, the South Korean conglomerate announced the 2018 version of the budget-friendly Galaxy Tab A 10.5-inch with Android 8.1 Oreo.
Just like their presence in the smartphone market, Samsung wants to dominate the tablet market as well. While others have seemingly stopped making tablets due to falling sales, Samsung has yet to give up. The company launched their first Galaxy Tab tablet back in 2010 and since then it has evolved into multiple series of devices at different price points. The Galaxy Tab A first released in 2016 and the company has continued making successors of this series since then. Today, the South Korean conglomerate announced the 2018 version of the Galaxy Tab A 10.5-inch along with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4. It promises "high-quality entertainment features" and "a budget-friendly price."

The Oppo A3s is now official, and sports a 4,230 mAh battery and a 6.2-inch notched display. It's powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 as well.
The Oppo A3s is now official, and it sports a 4,230 mAh battery alongside a 6.2-inch notched display. The device and all of its promotional material already leaked earlier this week, but now it's out officially. Oppo is calling the display a FullView display, something that the Oppo Find X also features. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450, a lower powered processor which should maximise the battery life. It also has 2GB of RAM and is running on Android 8.1 Oreo. Obviously, it's no flagship, but this device should be great for basic tasks.
A Samsung Galaxy J6+ (Galaxy On6+) with a Snapdragon 450 is in the works
Samsung is working on a new model of the Samsung Galaxy J6+ (which may be known as the Samsung Galaxy On6+ in India) with the Snapdragon 450.
In May, Samsung launched the mid-range Samsung Galaxy J6 along with the Samsung Galaxy A6, Samsung Galaxy A6+, and Samsung Galaxy J8 in India. All four of these smartphones feature Samsung's signature "Infinity Display" which gives users a higher screen-to-body ratio without increasing the overall size of the device. The Samsung Galaxy J6 was later re-branded as the Samsung Galaxy On6 when it went on sale online in India, but the specifications and software remained the same. Now, it seems that Samsung has been working on a Samsung Galaxy J6+ model with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 system-on-chip which could launch in India as the Samsung Galaxy On6+.

OPPO has made somewhat of a resurgence recently. First, there was the high-end Oppo Find X, and now according to a report from MySmartPrice, there's more to come. The low-end OPPO A3s has been leaked, complete with promotional images and specifications. We've known the company to focus largely on low-end hardware and mid-rangers in the past, so this is somewhat a return to the norm for the company. The OPPO A3s promises some interesting features for a low-end device including "AI Beauty 2.0", "Music Party" mode, and facial unlock. Facial unlock does supplement the lack of a fingerprint sensor, but the rest of the device looks pretty decent. A big battery, dual cameras and, oh, it has a notch.
