Nearly six months after the Realme 7 series, the company has unveiled the Realme 8 and the Realme 8 Pro mid-range smartphones globally. A 108MP camera is a leading highlight of the Realme 8 Pro, and it is the company's first step forward from the 64MP cameras seen on numerous devices, starting with the Realme XT. Besides the updated primary camera and a new design, the Realme 8 Pro is nearly identical to the Realme 7 Pro.

The major highlight of the superior model, i.e., the Realme 8 Pro, is its 108MP camera, and the company has been on its toes to improve the camera performance on the smartphone. The Realme 8 Pro is also the company's first phone to come with stable Realme UI 2.0 and has received its second OTA update since its launch last week. The latest update brings Google security patches for April 2021 and a host of improvements to the camera, including a 960fps mode for slow-mo video recording.
