The LineageOS team has been hard at work extending official LineageOS 19 builds based on Android 12 to as many devices as possible. The developers released the first official builds for nearly 40 devices back in April and added some more smartphones to the roster over the next few weeks. Now, the maintainers have extended support to several more devices, including the POCO F2 Pro, POCO F3, and the global Exynos edition of the Samsung Galaxy S10.

MIUI 12 is the newest big release for Xiaomi smartphones, perhaps even bigger than an Android version jump. Features on Xiaomi devices are dictated more by their MIUI versions than the underlying Android version, so a MIUI version upgrade is an exciting event. This article will serve as the central repository of download links for all Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO devices that have received their official MIUI 12 stable updates. We'll update it regularly with fresh builds!

The LineageOS team is working hard on LineageOS 19.0, the next major revision of the popular custom ROM based on Android 12. While we don't know when the new version will land, the team continues to extend LineageOS 18.1 support to more and more devices. After releasing LineageOS 18.1 for the OnePlus 9, Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G, and Xiaomi Mi A1 late last month, the team has added three new devices to the LineageOS 18.1 build roaster.

Xiaomi kicked off its Android 11 update rollout with the Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, and the Redmi K30 Pro in September last year. The company has since rolled out MIUI 12-flavored Android 11 for a couple of devices, including the Mi 10 Lite, Mi Note 10 Lite, Redmi Note 9 Pro/Redmi Note 9S, and more. Continuing the update flow, the Chinese OEM is now rolling out Android 11 via MIUI 12's stable channel for the Mi 10T Lite, Mi Note 10, and the Redmi Note 8 in select regions.

TWRP is the lifeblood of the Android modding community, making it possible to boot custom ROMs, kernels, and mods and opening new avenues of device customizations. Last month we saw the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL receiving official TWRP support. Now, five new smartphones have just joined the list: the Samsung Galaxy A70, Motorola Moto One Fusion+, Moto G7 Play, Motorola Edge, and Mi 10i / Mi 10T Lite / Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G.

Sometimes it takes Xiaomi a long time to release the kernel source code for a device they sell, but other times it can come rather hastily. While the Chinese OEM's timeliness factor remains questionable, a kernel source release still excites the aftermarket development community, whenever it does land. And we are happy to report that a handful of new devices have had their kernel sources released, namely the Redmi 9, the Redmi 9 Power (sold as the Redmi Note 9 4G in China), and the Mi 10T Lite AKA the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G.

Xiaomi launches a lot of phones every year, which is par for the course for a big OEM that operates in multiple markets. Just last week, Xiaomi launched the new Redmi Note 9 4G (device codename: lime), Redmi Note 9 5G (cannon), and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G (gauguinpro) in China, bringing along a bunch of upgrades across the board for one of its most popular product brandings. Now, we have evidence that suggests Xiaomi is looking to bring two of these three phones to India, but curiously under different branding, namely as the Redmi 9 Power and the Xiaomi Mi 10i.

Since Thanksgiving is not a thing in China, it's business as usual today as Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi announced three new devices and a smartwatch. The company took to the stage to announce the new Redmi Note 9 4G, Redmi Note 9 5G, Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, and the Redmi Watch. But before you move ahead, keep in mind that these devices are not to be confused with the Redmi Note 9 that was launched globally earlier in the year.
