Building upon the success of last year's ROG Phone II, Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer ASUS has now unveiled its latest flagship gaming smartphones — the ROG Phone 3 and ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition. While the new devices feature a familiar design language, ASUS has taken things up a notch on the hardware front. The flagship ROG Phone 3 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 Plus chip, while the ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition is powered by the regular Snapdragon 865. Both the devices feature an impressive 6.59-inch 144Hz high refresh rate AMOLED display, with 10-bit HDR support and a peak brightness of 1000 nits, which means that gaming on the new ROG Phones is going to be a phenomenal experience.
