Google intends to file for bankruptcy in Russia due to the seizure of its asssets following a $112 million fine from the county.

It looks like trouble is brewing in Russia, where Google is set to file for bankruptcy due to the seizure of its assets. Since the seizure, the company claims that it has been unable to pay its staff, suppliers, and vendors. It is believed that roughly 1 billion roubles or around $15 million have been seized. As for Google personnel working in Russia, the company had moved its employees out of the country when Russia sent troops into Ukraine.

Russia is reportedly running out of data storage, due to foreign cloud storage providers leaving the country over the Ukraine invasion.

Russia began a military invasion of the country of Ukraine on February 24, which is still ongoing and prompted started a chain of sanctions against Russia. Google, Meta (Facebook's parent company), Apple, and many other tech companies are in the process of winding down operations in Russia, mostly due to sanctions enforced by Europe and the United States. Russia now has another problem on its hands: the country is running out of storage for cloud services.

The Honor 30 series made its debut in China, starting off with the Honor 30S, and then following it up with the Honor 30, Honor 30 Pro and Honor 30 Pro+. The focus of the Honor 30 series is superior and versatile camera performance while maintaining the rest of the smartphone package to a standard. All four of these devices are currently available in China only, and there has been no word on their availability outside of the region. Now, we have learned that three of these four devices will be making their way to Russia, making it the first overseas market for the launch of the Honor 30 series.

As we begin the second half of 2018, it's Samsung who is still working on bringing last year's big Android update to their latest devices. The South Korean conglomerate released the Galaxy A8 2018 and the Galaxy A8+ 2018 back in January of this year. The devices were launched with Android 7.1.1 Nougat but are finally being updated to Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung Experience 9.5 built on top of it. We're seeing this update landing on devices in select markets around the world, which also adds support for Dolby Atmos.
