Samsung’s One UI 3.1 update train is moving at full steam. The Korean OEM has already updated a bunch of its older flagship phones with the latest One UI version in most regions and has now shifted its focus to updating its legacy mid-range lineup. Just a few days ago, the Samsung Galaxy A50, A50s, and Galaxy A70 received a taste of stable Android 11 with One UI 3.1. Now, it appears the Galaxy A40 and the Galaxy A80 are also getting the sweet treat of Android 11. And as you might have guessed, the builds are indeed based on One UI 3.1.

Google surprised a lot of people with the augmented reality achievements the company was able to make when it announced ARCore. It was a much better way to tackle the space than its previous attempts with Project Tango and was open to more devices. However, the company hasn't treated it like some of its other services and added support to all devices running a certain version of Android. Instead, they have been manually adding support for various devices and the Galaxy Tab S5e, Galaxy A30, Galaxy A40, Galaxy A50, Galaxy A60, Galaxy A70, Galaxy A80 from Samsung are the latest to receive support.

Samsung recently debuted 2 new devices: the Galaxy A70 and Galaxy A180. The Galaxy A70 is about what you'd expect from a Samsung mid-range device, including a teardrop notch and a decently performing octa-core processor, but it also features a massive 6.7-inch 20:9 display and a big 4,500 mAh battery. However, the Galaxy A80 was the clear star of the show. It has the same 6.7-inch display, but instead of a teardrop notch it goes for a pop-up rotating camera: the same back camera rotates to the front. Additionally, it features Qualcomm's newest and most powerful midrange processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G.
