Sony Launches the Xperia R1 and Xperia R1 Plus in India
Sony has just launched the Xperia R1 and the Xperia R1 Plus in India with the Snapdragon 430 SoC and between 2GB and 3GB of RAM.
Sony has been struggling to make a profit in the mobile space lately, and had decided to limit the number of devices they plan on releasing each year. Since then, the company has been focusing on the mid-range and high-end segments and today they just announced two mid-range devices for the Indian market. The two new smartphones are the Xperia R1 and the Xperia R1 Plus which Sony claims are “designed for Indian lifestyle” and “designed to excite the new Indian.”
