Since last month, we know that Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the new Redmi K40 series in China. The company itself confirmed the launch date. There have been multiple reports and leak surrounding the K40 series, with reports suggesting there will at least be two devices: the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro. Now ahead of the official launch, three Xiaomi smartphones, including the Redmi K40, K40 Pro, and an unreleased Mi device, have been spotted on TENAA, giving us our best look yet at these upcoming smartphones.

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the next lineup of devices under the successful Redmi Note branding. We recently reported on what we presume will be called the Redmi Note 10 4G, as it passed through TENAA. A few more Xiaomi-Redmi devices have passed through TENAA, and recent certification filings indicate that one of the upcoming phones will be called the Redmi Note 9T.

Xiaomi's Redmi Note 9 series first hit the market earlier this year in March, when the company unveiled the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in India. The Redmi Note 9 Pro was then launched globally as the Redmi Note 9S in the same month. In April, Xiaomi launched the regular Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro globally. And the company finally concluded the Redmi Note 9 series launches by bringing the regular Redmi Note 9 to the Indian market in July. Now that it has been a couple of months since the Redmi Note 9 series launches ended, Xiaomi is prepping up to launch the Redmi Note 10 series.

The device was soon followed by the Snapdragon 865-powered Redmi K30 Pro and, most recently, the Redmi K30 5G Racing Edition. All three devices come with an affordable price tag, making them some of the best value 5G devices in the market today. OEMs are preparing to ring in the new year with releases centered around the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and its dual-mode 5G support capabilities. ZTE had already announced that it will contribute to the 5G bandwagon in 2020 with the ZTE Axon 10s Pro 5G, coming in with the Snapdragon 865 of course, along with the Snapdragon X55 modem, WiFi 6, LPPR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage. Now, the device has passed through TENAA, indicating that its launch and availability is just on the horizon.
