Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro with Exynos 1080 and Zeiss lenses launched in China
Vivo has launched the Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro in China, packing a 6.56-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, Exynos 1080 chipset, and Zeiss optics.
At a launch event in China today, Vivo announced two new flagship smartphones: the Vivo X60 and the Vivo X60 Pro. The new X60 series succeeds the last year’s Vivo X50 series and brings with it some substantial improvements, including a higher refresh rate screen, quad-camera with ZEISS optics, a faster chipset, and much more.
Vivo X60 series confirmed to come with Exynos 1080 and Zeiss partnership
A recent teaser poster for the upcoming Vivo X60 series confirms that the devices will feature Samsung's Exynos 1080 SoC and Zeiss-branded lenses.
Leaked live images of the upcoming Vivo X60 surfaced online early last month, giving us our first look at the devices and revealing a few key details. At the time, we had learned that the Vivo X60 series would include two devices — the X60 and the X60 Pro — with the former featuring a flat display and the latter rocking a curved panel. Both the smartphones featured a centered hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera, but only the non-pro variant looked to have an orange accented power button.
Nokia Camera with Pro Camera mode ported to Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6, and more
XDA Senior Member hikari_calyx has released a port of the Nokia camera with Nokia Pro Camera mode to other Nokia smartphones including the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and others.
Earlier this year we learned that HMD Global was bringing the well-known Nokia Pro Camera mode to the Nokia Camera application for their Zeiss optics branded Android smartphones. This was first announced for the Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco and has since been released for the Nokia 7 and the Nokia 8. The company is working to optimize the Nokia Camera application for their other Nokia devices as well, but the Pro Camera mode may not arrive on their other Nokia-branded devices.
