What’s the Oldest Smartphone You Could or Would Use Today?

Smartphone technology has evolved at an almost unprecedented rate, with every year and each generation bringing new features and improvements that we take for granted, and sometimes even wonder how we could live without them. But we did.

Even though things have changed so much and so rapidly, there were phones that were ahead of their time and satisfied every need with reasonable merit. Such devices might be ones that we owned or that we lusted over, but what makes us remember them is how far ahead of the game they were, and how they stood the test of time to us. So we ask you,

What’s the oldest smartphone you could still use today for your day-to-day activities? Why would you pick that phone, and in which ways would it be better or worse than your current device? How much has that device aged, and which aspects still stand out today?
