Today, Microsoft is releasing Windows 11 build 22000.766 to the Release Preview channel of the Windows Insider Program. It's basically a preview of a preview update, with the one that non-Insiders get being available later on this month.

KB5014668 also contains quite a bit. The key new feature is called search highlights. Insiders in other channels have had this for a little while. The idea is that you'll be able to see events of interest, including holidays, anniversaries, and educational moments. These can be global or local.

This also seems to be more of an enterprise-focused feature, as those customers get a bit more functionality out of it. This is going to provide organizational information, so it's going to suggest people, files, and more.

But that's not all, because as mentioned, there are tons of changes and fixes in this build.

Note that this update is only for those on the Release Preview channel and are still on Windows 11 version 21H2. It's a bit confusing, but Windows 11 version 22H2 is also available in the Release Preview channel, and it's only for "seekers". That means that to get 22H2, you have to go into Windows Update and explicitly say that you want it. If you don't do that you'll get this update instead.
