Another day, another update from Xiaomi. The company has just started rolling out the MIUI 10 Global Stable update for the Xiaomi Redmi 6. The device initially launched in China back in June, followed by the Indian release just a couple of weeks ago. The phone sports the MediaTek Helio P22 system-on-chip, 3GB RAM, 32/64GB internal storage, and a 5.45" HD+ screen.

Due to the fact that we have a zip file available as a recovery ROM, you don't have to wipe anything in order to update to MIUI 10. Unlike the China Developer and China Stable versions of the system, the Global Stable version comes with the Google Play Services package, as well as a bunch of available languages, so you won't be stuck with only English and Mandarin. All you have to do to install the ROM is to download the zip file and sideload it using the MIUI system updater. You can also use the TWRP method as shown right here.

Xiaomi has been constantly releasing MIUI 10 for a variety of devices for the past couple of months. Devices like the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, Mi 8, Mi Mix, Mi Mix 2, and Mi Note 2 already received the update, while some others definitely have it on the way. The file is 1.2GB in size and it is for Xiaomi Redmi 6 (codenamed "cereus"). We'll let you know when we get the update file for the Redmi 6 Pro or Redmi 6a.
