MIUI 10 is the latest version of Xiaomi's custom build of Android. It has a number of features that aren't present in stock Android, and a few improvements over previous iterations. With a heavier focus on AI and the inclusion of all of the latest features from Android Oreo, MIUI 10 is the best version of MIUI yet. It has arrived on a number of different devices by Xiaomi by the way of both Chinese and Global beta ROMs, and that list is growing every day. The Global Stable version of MIUI 10 is now here for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, the Xiaomi Mi 5, the Xiaomi Mi 6, the Xiaomi Mi Mix, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 and the Xiaomi Mi Note 2.

Because these are the Global variants, you'll have access to Google Play Services and all available language options that are present usually. What's more, because these are marked as stable, they should be what users are going to have rolled out in the coming weeks anyway. While you can flash the update manually on your smartphone using the links below, you can also opt to wait instead. Some of MIUI 10's features include a newly redesigned user interface, AI camera features, AI-based app preloading, and more. It's all pretty cool, and something many fans of MIUI will have been looking forward to.

If you want to install it now, you can download a recovery ROM for your device thanks to XDA Recognised Developer yshalsager. If you're not sure how to do that, you can follow these instructions to learn how. It's not too difficult of a process, but you will need to use TWRP, which requires an unlocked bootloader. The files range from 1.4GB to 1.6GB, and all come from Xiaomi's official OTA servers.
