Xiaomi wrapped up its new product launches for 2019 earlier this month with the launch of the Redmi K30 series. At the event, Xiaomi launched two versions of the Redmi K30 with the 5G variant featuring a Snapdragon 765G processor and the 4G variant featuring a Snapdragon 730G processor. The company didn't unveil the Redmi K30 Pro devices at the event, with reports suggesting a launch scheduled for early next year. But that's not all that the company has planned for early next year. As per a recent teaser from Weibo, the company is also planning on launching the Xiaomi Watch Color early next month.
The teaser in question was shared by Xiaomi's sub-brand Mijia through their official Weibo account and it showcases the upcoming smartwatch in all its glory. The upcoming smartwatch looks a lot like the Amazfit GTR (review), with a circular dial and colorful watch straps. These colorful straps are targeted at younger buyers and the company claims that users will get to choose from between 1540 combinations to customize the look of their Xiaomi Watch Color.
As of now, the company hasn't revealed any information about the Xiaomi Watch Color's features or specifications, but one of the graphics in the teaser image suggests that it might run the same OS as the Amazfit GTR/GTS with similar features on offer. This is in stark contrast to Xiaomi's recently released Mi Watch which runs MIUI based on Google's Wear OS. The new Xiaomi Watch Color will be launched in China on January 3 and currently, we have no information on its pricing or availability.

Update 1: Xiaomi Watch Color promises battery life of 14 days, NFC
In new teasers, Xiaomi claims that the Xiaomi Watch Color can provide up to 14 days worth of battery life on a single charge. The Watch Color also comes with NFC and XiaoAI voice assistant, but both of these are likely to remain specific to the Chinese market -- and may or may not make their way to the international version of the watch, if at all Xiaomi releases it internationally.
The battery life claims essentially confirm that the watch will not be a full smartwatch like the Mi Watch, but a fitness tracker with a display, like the Amazfit GTR.

Update 2: More details
For some reason, Xiaomi decided not to reveal many specifications of the Xiaomi Watch Color when it announced the device. Earlier today, we found out it boasts 14-day battery life from some teaser posters. Now, images of the retail box fill in a lot more of the details.
The watch does have a 1.39-inch 454x454 AMOLED display. The battery is 420mAh and it has NFC, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, and GPS with GLONASS support. It is also water-resistant up to 5 ATM or 50 meters. The dimensions are 46.2 x 53.3 x 11.4mm.

After practically soft-launching the product through teasers, the Xiaomi Watch Color is now available for purchase in China for CNY 799 (~$115/₹8,200).
The highlight of the Xiaomi Watch Color is its 1.39" AMOLED display with support for over 110 different watch faces as well as the plentiful strap options, allowing users a lot of customizability in its looks. The fitness tracker-smart watch gets the usual set of features such as step counter, exercise tracking, sleep tracking, and heart rate monitoring. The Watch Color also has a 420 mAh battery, allowing Xiaomi to boast of 14 days of battery life. The Watch also has GPS and multi-function NFC.
It is currently unknown if the Watch Color will make its way outside of China. The watch appears to be functionally similar to the Amazfit GTR 47mm, so you can grab that in the meantime.
