At today's Xiaomi 12 series global launch event, Xiaomi launched three new flagship smartphones -- the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and the Xiaomi 12X. In addition, the company launched two new smartwatches, the Xiaomi Watch S1 and Watch S1 Active, and pair of premium TWS earbuds dubbed Xiaomi Buds 3T Pro. We've already shared all details about the new Xiaomi 12 series in a separate post, and in this post, we'll take a look at the company's latest smartwatches and TWS earbuds.
Xiaomi Watch S1 & Watch S1 Active
Xiaomi initially launched the Watch S1 alongside the Xiaomi 12 series in China late last year. The company has now brought the smartwatch over to international markets, along with a new 'Active' variant. The regular Xiaomi Watch S1 features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a 466 x 466 resolution, 326 PPI pixel density, and 60Hz refresh rate. It supports 200 watch faces, up to 117 sports modes, including 19 professional sports modes, automatic activity detection, continuous heart rate monitoring, and blood oxygen monitoring.
The Xiaomi Watch S1 packs a 470mAh battery that can last up to 12 days on typical use. It also offers wireless charging support, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, a microphone, and 5ATM water resistance. The Xiaomi Watch S1 features a premium design with a 316L grade stainless steel frame and three leather strap options or two fluororubber strap options.
The Xiaomi Watch S1 Active is a slightly less premium version of the regular Watch S1, and it comes in three frame colors -- Moon White, Space Black, and Ocean Blue. It features the same 1.43-inch AMOLED display as the vanilla mode and most of the same fitness tracking features, including 117 sports modes, continuous heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen monitoring, and GPS support. The Active variant also offers up to 12 days of battery life on a single charge, Bluetooth 5.2, 200 watch faces, and 5ATM water resistance.
Xiaomi Buds 3T Pro
The new Xiaomi Buds 3T Pro features the same design as the Xiaomi True Wireless Earphones 3 that the company launched in China late last year. The premium earbuds pack 10mm dual-magnet dynamic drivers with sectional DLC coating, LHDC 4.0 audio codec support, and Active Noise Cancellation.
In addition, the Xiaomi Buds 3T Pro offers up to 6 hours of continuous playback on one charge or up to 24 hours with the charging case.
The earbuds also feature IP55 certification for water and dust resistance and dimensional audio with head movement tracking. The earbuds come in two color options -- Carbon Black and Gloss White.
